VECTOR-PATHOGEN INTERACTIONS IN LYME DISEASE

WE ARE EXPLORING THE VECTOR-PATHOGEN-HOST INTERACTIONS OF BORRELIA BURGDORFERI, A SPIROCHETE BACTERIA WHICH CAUSES LYME DISEASE IN HUMANS, AND ITS ARTHROPOD HOST, IXODES SCAPULARIS.
